T O P I C R E V I E WRandall*sniffle* Man proposes to his girlfriend and her daughter: http://www.yahoo.com/style/man-married-girlfriend-popped-question-daughter-230950866.html anonymidarknessNeither have I but *sniffle*RandallMakes you believe in fairy tales.Pearlty Very Sweet LexxigramerEdited.Deleted most of my longer post.I sincerely hope it works out for them. RandallMe, too. LexxigramerI did not see it in any signs or anything when my second ex made a very similar proposal. It was so very beautiful! I ended up divorcing him several years later when I found out he was/is a pedophile. No mother and child should have to endure that. A lovely proposal like that and a sweet seeming man; does not mean he is automatically a good guy. They know how to play the "game".I have known others who had the same kind of thing happen; more than the ones that worked out fine.So my apologies for inserting gloom into this thread, but my experiences and of others makes me cringe every time I hear one of these beautiful proposals. All were very lovely and seemed so very perfect! But....yeah....were not. PearltyNo apologies needed Lex, things aren't always as they seem- and if it is too good to be true, probably is. As the old adages say. Sorry you went through that. Thanks for this reminder. RandallHere's another one: http://www.faithfamilyamerica.com/man_goes_to_propose_to_his_girlfriend_then_turns_to_her_sister_and_gets_down_on_one_knee LexxigramerPearlty!Thank you! RandallUnderstood, LEXX.
I sincerely hope it works out for them.
